Hellion: Bildhübsches Survival-Sandbox-MMO startet bald in die Early-Access-Phase

With Hellion, sandbox and science fiction fans can fully enjoy themselves. You can try out this interesting and visually stunning online game starting in January.

Because in January, the early access phase will begin. The developers will announce a precise date soon. What, you don’t know Hellion yet? It could really strike a chord with sandbox fans!

The Awakening into a Nightmare

The events begin when colonists awaken in the 24th century from a hundred-year cryogenic sleep in the Hellion system. Their plan is to establish a colony there. But what they find is a nightmare. A conflict has apparently destroyed large parts of the solar system. A reception by representatives from Earth, who were supposed to reach the system earlier, also did not take place. No one can hope for help either, as it would take 100 years to arrive. Chaos breaks out. The colonists turn on each other. Each one tries to survive.

After the colonists have split into groups, calm gradually returns over time. Space stations are established as well as smaller colonies on the rather hostile planets. Some set out to find out what has actually happened here. You belong to the new inhabitants of the Hellion system and try to find your way there. You can try your hand as a crafter, merchant, pirate, explorer… Your possibilities are virtually limitless. But first, you need a spaceship. You will gradually build this up to have better chances against your enemies in space. Because PvP also plays a role.

Sandbox with Backstory

You fly through space with your ship, but you can also land on stations and planets or disembark in space to mine resources from asteroids. Graphically, Hellion makes an incredibly good impression. See for yourself based on the videos linked here. While the sandbox aspect is in the foreground, there is also a backstory. What has happened in the solar system? You can set out to find clues while trying to rebuild. How Hellion plays, you will find out in January during the early access. At least the early access will only be available for PC.
