In Helldivers 2 there is a new Major Order where you have to defend a planet. If you fail to do so, it could have consequences for the release of the Exo-suits in the game.
What is a Major Order in Helldivers 2? In Helldivers 2, there are orders that you are supposed to execute. Besides the daily changing order, there is also the so-called Major Order, which is active for a certain period of time.
In the game, there is now a special Major Order that revolves around the announced Mechs, the “EXO-45 Patriot Exosuits”.

What is this new Major Order? In the mission, you have to retake the planet Tien Kwan after it has been taken over by robots.
On Tien Kwan, Exo-suits are produced, which according to the description in the order are “new, powerful weapons designed for immediate fleet-wide deployment.” So far, the robots have not discovered the arsenal of Exo-suits, but time is running out.
While on the official X.com page of Helldivers 2 on March 5th, the production of the EXO-45 Patriot and its imminent deployment in combat were announced, there was now, alongside the new Major Order, an update announcing the production halt and calling on the Helldivers to liberate the planet:
What happens if the players fail? Furthermore, the Major Order states that if the players fail, the robots will steal the technologies. This, in turn, will “greatly delay” the deployment of the Exo-suits.
It is unclear what exactly happens if the players should fail, but it strongly sounds like the release of the Mechs could be delayed if the players do not succeed in liberating the planet.
In return, the Exo-suits could then come to Helldivers 2 when the planet has achieved a liberation status of 100%.
Helldivers 2 Major Order Reward – Rewards from the last order are still pending
Where are my rewards from the last Major Order? So far, the last order has not brought any rewards in the game. On Discord, the developers commented on this on March 7th and wrote:
“All Helldivers will receive the medals for which they fought and bled. Our supercomputer is now doing its work. Your efforts will be rewarded!”
