Helldivers 2 has announced a new Battle Pass with the war bond “Democratic Detonations”. There will be new weapons to see and plenty of explosions.
When does the new war bond start? On April 11, 2024, around 11 to 12 o’clock, “Democratic Detonations” will bring a new premium war bond to Helldivers 2. After various leaks circulated online, the war bond has now been officially announced.

What’s included: The new war bond will again include three new primary weapons, secondary weapons, and armor.
- New primary weapons
- BR-14 Judge Rifle – An armor-piercing assault rifle
- R-36 Burst Rifle – A rifle that fires jet-propelled projectiles designed to explode on impact and spread shrapnel
- CB-9 Explosive Crossbow – A crossbow that fires explosive bolts and promises massive damage on direct hits
- New secondary weapons/utility boosters
- G-123 Thermite Grenade – A grenade that sticks to surfaces
- GP-31 Grenade Pistol – A pistol that fires grenades
- Evacuation Ace Pilot Booster – A booster to shorten the time it takes for the evacuation shuttle to reach the terminal
- New armor
- CE-27 Earthbreaker – Medium armor
- CE-07 Demolition Expert – Light armor
- FS-55 Devastator – Heavy armor
Additionally, there will be new capes to give your cannon fodder – pardon, your brave Helldivers – the appropriate democratic flair.
Unlike traditional Battle Passes, the new war bond does not replace the existing ones. You can complete already unlocked war bonds at your own pace, or only obtain them when you feel like adding some extra democracy.
How is it being received? From the first reactions, quite well. On YouTube, the trailer reached almost 90,000 views within an hour.
