In Helldivers 2, a new weapon was introduced with the latest update, which initially caused some problems. However, it turns out that the weapon is more practical than expected.
What weapon is it? It is the new RL-77 Air Detonation Rocket Launcher
, which initially caused unintentional team kills. The projectiles were triggered by nearby objects like trees, rocks, and even equipment from Helldivers.
However, this issue was resolved with the new patch on April 29. The rocket launcher is no longer supposed to detonate when fired near equipment and other Helldivers. The action radius of the rockets has also been reduced.
Even though there were initial problems with the weapon, players have now discovered a way to use this rocket launcher particularly efficiently.

The RL-77 has a long range. While the reload time is not very short, you do not need to aim precisely and can eliminate a large portion of enemies, egg nests, and bug nests with a single shot. You should be careful to keep your distance to avoid accidentally hitting yourself.
This weapon is not recommended against opponents like Chargers, as the reload animation is quite long. Additionally, the ammunition is not armor-piercing. But for smaller and medium-sized groups of enemies, the RL-77 can definitely be worthwhile.
