In Helldivers 2, the CEO truly plays his game as well. However, he has now admitted that he hasn’t tried the new DLC yet. The reason for this surprised the fans.
Who is it about? The CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios, Shams Jorjani, is himself a Helldiver. Just like the players, the weekend warrior fights against the enemies of over-Earth after his work. But instead of unlocking everything in the game simply through admin command, he wants to experience the co-op shooter just like everyone else. This is also evidenced by a conversation on Discord.
There is also a new expansion in Helldivers 2:
CEO plays Helldivers 2 like everyone else
What did the CEO say? On the official Discord server for Helldivers 2, a player asked the CEO if he has tried the latest war bond, Dust Devils. His answer surprised the players: “I haven’t tried it yet. But maybe I’ll buy it next. I’m just 70 [Super Credits] away from a new war bond!! “
Instead of unlocking everything, the CEO of the development studio farms his Super Credits just like everyone else. According to his comment, he is missing not only the “Dust Devils” war bond, but also other war bonds in his collection.
A fan confronts the CEO directly and asks, “Wait, so you don’t give yourself everything in the game, but play it like we do?” To which the CEO replied: “I’m a man of the people! I’m in the same position as you (but either way, I have much less time to play the game).”
Why doesn’t the CEO just unlock everything? Even though the CEO does not explain why he doesn’t just cheat everything in the game, it can be assumed that he wants to see what Helldivers 2 feels like for regular players. The CEO simply states: “I decided not to get it for free.”
To obtain the war bonds in Helldivers 2, one can either buy Super Credits or find and loot them during various missions. Some players don’t spend any money after purchasing the game and instead farm the game’s currency for hours to afford the new DLCs.
In Helldivers 2, there are also free, large expansions that continuously enhance the game. Recently, the latest one introduced an enemy that poses significant challenges even for the best players: The new strongest enemy in Helldivers 2 is almost unbeatable, but experienced veterans say: It has to be this way
