In Blizzard’s online card game Hearthstone , almost all players are now being gifted two free card packs. Why is that?

This is no happy accident, and you don’t need to look around sheepishly to see if everything is above board or if someone caught you pulling 2.79€ out of your pocket for Blizzard like a goblin. Rather, this is a compensation from Blizzard for the connection issues European players experienced last week.
