New cards from the Hearthstone expansion “Knights of the Frozen Throne” are causing excitement. Legendary minions for Paladins and Druids have been revealed!
Recently, new cards have been introduced that will be playable in Hearthstone in just a few weeks. We present the highlights of the new reveals in this article.
The legendary minion for Hunters will be Professor Putricide. For 4 mana, he has solid stats of 5/4 and provides a nice bonus effect. When the Hunter plays a secret, another random Hunter secret is automatically activated.
The legendary minion for Mages is none other than the undead Dragon Lady Sindragosa. With stats of 8/8 for 8 mana, she is a clear late-game card, but her Battlecry makes her really valuable. She summons 2 Frozen Champions with 0/1. These champions have a Deathrattle effect: Add a random legendary minion to your hand. While this involves a lot of RNG, it’s a good way to get legendary minions!
Warriors have a very risky spell card. Bring It On! costs only 2 mana and gives the Warrior a whooping 10 armor. However, it also reduces the cost of minions in the opponent’s hand by 2. A risky move that becomes more valuable when the opponent’s hand is almost empty.
Paladins receive the new Lich King! Bolvar, Fireblood is a minion for 5 mana with weak stats of 1/7 and divine shield. However, he gains +2 attack each time a friendly minion loses divine shield. This can quickly make him a really strong enemy, as most new Paladin cards have some divine shield interaction.
So does Light’s Sorrow, the new sword of the Paladins. With 1 attack and 4 durability for 4 mana, the weapon is very weak. However, it gains +1 attack each time a friendly minion loses divine shield!
Another Paladin card is the Corpsetaker. For 4 mana and stats of 3/3, she is weak on the board, but her Battlecry can turn her into a real monster! She checks the deck and if there is a minion with taunt, she also gains taunt. The same applies to divine shield, windfury, and lifesteal!
The last legendary minion for today is the Druid card Hadronox. With 9 mana, stats of only 3/7 seem extremely poor, but his Deathrattle effect makes him incredibly valuable. When he dies, all of the Druid’s dead minions with taunt are resurrected!
What do you think of these new cards? Cool effects or too much RNG?
We have already introduced you to more new cards in this post – such as the Blood Queen!
