Since this morning at 8:00 AM, Blizzard has been showcasing the new expansion for Hearthstone on their Twitch channel. It is an adventure titled “One Night in Karazhan” – a night in Karazhan.

Blizzard has chosen an unusual time for the announcement of the next chapter in Hearthstone this time. Normally, the dates are scheduled around noon in the USA – which is in the evening for us. This time they have gone for 11 PM at night in the USA, which is early morning for us. This is likely accounting for the success of Hearthstone in China as well. The ChinaJoy, a fair, is currently taking place there – and they are using it as the venue and backdrop.

The theme of the new adventure, which is the fourth one, is “Karazhan.” The story is “Medivh is throwing a big party.” A single wild night – a magical night.

It is about a “reinterpretation” of the myth of Karazhan with a slightly different, more cheerful approach. Karazhan is a WoW instance designed for 10 players, which was relevant at the time of “The Burning Crusade.”

The story goes: You are invited as a guest to a party, arrive an hour early, and Medivh, the host, is missing. But his spells are in effect.
