The new Hearthstone expansion is live! We tell you everything you need to know about the launch of Kobolds and Catacombs!
At Blizzcon 2017, Blizzard presented the latest expansion for Hearthstone. Kobolds and Catacombs offers 135 new cards, legendary weapons for all characters, and an extensive single-player mode that still provides variety even when played repeatedly.
After players had to wait almost a month, it was finally time. The release of Kobolds and Catacombs was approaching! This evening, December 7, 2017, the expansion was launched. The corresponding card packs are now available in the game shop and can be purchased there for gold or real money. Those who prefer to work hard for their packs can also earn them in the Arena starting now.
With a new expansion, some players in the community also ask the question: Who can still afford Hearthstone?
Dungeon runs promise long single-player fun
For many players, however, the highlight will be the new single-player mode that is provided for free. A total of 48 different bosses await in the “Dungeon.” Here, players are given a deck of 10 cards with which they must slowly make their way deeper into the dungeon. After defeating each boss, new cards and even special treasures await. However, the player loses everything if they lose a fight!
The dungeon mode is endlessly repeatable and offers high replay value due to the random order of the bosses and different rewards.
