How to Defeat Sindragosa in Hearthstone
The final fight of the Upper Citadel of the Frozen Throne is against the undead dragon lady Sindragosa. There are some difficulties that the final boss throws in your way.
- On your side of the battlefield, 4 Ice Blocks are permanently present. These cannot be destroyed and block spaces for your minions. Thus, you can only have a maximum of 3 minions!
- At 20 and 10 health points, Sindragosa freezes all minions of the player and turns them into Ice Blocks (so even more spaces are irrevocably occupied).
Sindragosa herself uses plenty of dragons and swears by the various synergy effects of these.
There are multiple approaches to this fight; the easiest victory is likely achieved through a C’thun deck, which deals more than 20 damage to Sindragosa in one go, so her hero ability never comes into play correctly.
The deck completely eschews spells because whenever you have a spell in hand, Sindragosa herself casts a spell that deals 3 damage to you (if you have a spell in hand). A reference to “Your pathetic magic betrays you!” – probably Sindragosa’s most quoted line.
Just make sure that you also let your own minions die (waiting for good trades), so you can play more buffs for C’thun. If in doubt, Arcane Reaper and Fiery War Axe can take the last health points from Sindragosa if the plan with C’thun does not fully succeed.
