Hearthstone gives away golden cards to its players. To celebrate the “Card Giveaway”, there is also a new cinematic!
The time between expansions is always a bit dull in Hearthstone, which is why the developers come up with small events to keep players engaged. This time, a golden classic pack awaits all players who log in at the right time.
Update: Remember to log in to Hearthstone today! Because only today, on June 13, 2018, the golden card pack is up for grabs!

What is a golden classic pack? A golden classic pack contains cards from Hearthstone’s classic set, which will never rotate out with a season. All cards in this pack are also golden, coming in their form adorned with special animations. Golden cards have a greater value for players, as they provide more arcane dust when disenchanted than their “normal” counterparts. Therefore, the golden pack is worthwhile for all, even those who do not need any cards from the classic set.
When is the free pack available? Those who want to snag the five golden cards must log in to Hearthstone on June 13. The card pack should then automatically be in your possession and can be selected as usual through the pack opening menu.
New cinematic with “Feel Good” atmosphere
At the last BlizzCon, an animated cinematic for Hearthstone was presented, and this story is now being showcased. In the Hearthstone tavern, there are “fresh cards” that are distributed to the guests. The characters rush for the packs, and in the end, only one remains, which is of course shared amicably.
Somewhat ironically, the video highlights that in Hearthstone you cannot “share” or trade cards – a point that has been criticized by players for years.
