A new expansion is coming for Hearthstone . It now has a reveal date.
While many players have been frustrated in recent days by “Unfortunately, we could not start a game for you” issues, Blizzard continues to make big moves and is spinning the expansion wheel.
Yes, Blizzard is so big that they need announcements for their announcements. Recently, the sparrows have been chirping from the rooftops: The next expansion for Hearthstone is overdue. Yesterday, some popular Hearthstone media and players received one of the famous “invitation cards” from an “old friend,” which Blizzard typically uses to invite people to announcement events.
But you can also join the Twitch stream without an invitation. There won’t be any cheese toast or champagne with orange juice, but maybe Ben Brode, his booming laughter, and a lot of new cards.

Karazhan is an early favorite for the next Hearthstone expansion
The invitation often refers to an “adventure,” and some have already identified Karazhan as a possible destination.
Expansions come in 2 forms in Hearthstone. There are new cards simply in a stylish new pack, and other expansions are released as “adventures,” where players have to purchase wings (for real money or in-game gold), defeat bosses, and then receive pre-set cards as rewards.
It looks like this expansion might be an adventure.
