Rank 6: Gilderoy Lockhart
Gilderoy Lockhart was also a teacher for Defense Against the Dark Arts. Unlike his predecessor, however, he had no real talent in this area.
The only spell Lockhart really mastered was the Memory Charm. He used this against talented witches and wizards to take credit for their achievements.
Thus, while his skills are very one-sided, they are still dangerous. After all, he managed to overwhelm numerous gifted witches and wizards with this.
Rank 5: Luna Lovegood
The dreamy Luna Lovegood is not a typical fighter. Rather, she impresses with her intellect, as a typical Ravenclaw does.
She has extensive knowledge and understanding of magical creatures, which is why she became a magical zoologist after school. She also quickly learns charms and defensive magic, especially since she became a member of D.A.
Notably, her ability to think outside the box is also remarkable. Sometimes she may go a bit overboard, and she is often laughed at for her “unusual” views. But she doesn’t really care about that. Luna always keeps a clear head, which allows her to calmly navigate dangerous situations.
In the ranking, she therefore takes fifth place.
Rank 4: Garrick Ollivander
Mr. Ollivander, like many of his ancestors, dedicated himself to the ancient art of wand-making. With great skill and expertise, he created wands and was considered one of the best in his craft.
He is the owner of “Ollivanders”, the wand shop in Diagon Alley. Besides the actual crafting, he is also adept at finding the right wands for his customers. Although he would probably now say: “The wand chooses the wizard!”.
Even Voldemort valued Ollivander’s expertise and sought him out for information about the Elder Wand. For his extraordinary talent in a challenging field, Ollivander ranks fourth in this ranking.
