Position 5: Antonin Dolohov
Antonin Dolohov is another extremely dangerous fighter among the Death Eaters. In the battle for the prophecy, he managed to defeat Mad-Eye Moody and hold his own against Sirius Black.
After Hermione hit him with a Silencing Charm, he also demonstrated his skills in non-verbal spells. In the films this is not particularly special. However, in the books, few possess this type of magic.
He also participated in the battle at the Muggle café. Harry, Ron, and Hermione had to team up against him before Hermione could take him out with a Stunning Spell.
Later, in the Battle of Hogwarts, he occupied three opponents simultaneously again. He defeated and killed Remus Lupin before ultimately being bested in combat by Professor Flitwick, a true dueling master.
Position 4: Corban Yaxley
Corban Yaxley was often Voldemort’s first choice for secret missions. For example, he was supposed to bring Horace Slughorn to the side of the Death Eaters. He was a master of manipulation and the Imperius Curse. With this, he controlled Ministry employee Pius Thicknesse for a long time, who ultimately became Minister of Magic under Yaxley’s influence. Maintaining an Imperius Curse for such a long time is exceptionally difficult and requires considerable magical skill.
He was also not to be underestimated in a duel. In the Battle of Hogwarts, he could even take on Filius Flitwick. Ultimately, he was defeated and captured by Lee Jordan and George Weasley.
Position 3: Barty Crouch Jr.
Barty Crouch Jr. is the son of Bartemius Crouch Sr., the head of the Department of International Magical Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic. He kept his son under the Imperius Curse for a long time to prevent him from cooperating with Voldemort. However, Barty was able to free himself from the curse and immediately returned to the service of his Dark Lord.
Here, he managed to overpower and capture Mad-Eye Moody. With the help of Polyjuice Potion, he impersonated Moody and taught at Hogwarts for a year, even managing to deceive Dumbledore.
He had a great talent for the Dark Arts, as he notably demonstrated as a professor of Defense Against the Dark Arts. He was particularly skilled in the Unforgivable Curses. He was partly responsible for Neville’s parents losing their sanity due to brutal torture.
