After the trailer announcing the collaboration between the e-sports team Eintracht Spandau, the Twitch streamer HandOfBlood, and the US series South Park, the entire episode premiered on YouTube on Thursday night – and it caused great excitement among fans.
What is the episode about? In the video “The Rescue of League of Legends” on Eintracht Spandau’s YouTube account, a 12-minute episode in the style of the South Park series is shown, where the entire LoL e-sports and the team suffer under a specific person: the Twitch streamer “NoWay”. Too nice, too harmonious, and above all – he not only steals jobs and women from Eintracht Spandau, but especially the viewers. However, President Knabe, Broeki, Kevin Westphal, and Tristan Schrage do not want to let this happen.
When President Knabe realizes that harder training, face tattoos, the Prime League, and also “Rito” games won’t change their situation, the desperate president is left with one last option. He turns to the LoL god “Faker”, who gives him wise words that could get the team back on the right track. We won’t reveal more at this point.
Fans are excited, want more urgently
What is the fans’ reaction? Eintracht Spandau’s video along with the animation in the style of a South Park episode, the humor, and also the subtle criticism they incorporate, are very well received by fans based on the comments on YouTube. This is even acknowledged by viewers who previously had no contact with the e-sports team:
