In the survival MMO H1Z1 the new update is being installed right now. Therefore, the servers will be down from 12:00 PM on April 9th.
At 12:00 PM our time, the servers for H1Z1 are scheduled to go offline for a patch. During that time, H1Z1 will be unreachable. The servers are expected to come back online at 2:00 PM our time with the new build.
We have summarized the most important points from the patch notes for you in English. The patch brings among other things:
- A larger number of zombies
- The zombies are also more dangerous, dealing more damage and having a higher chance of causing bleeding wounds, but they now have more difficulty causing damage to vehicles
- The torch now sets players, wildlife and zombies on fire, players burn for 5 seconds, wildlife and zombies for 20 seconds
- A new shoe slot is being added – here, work boots can be worn. More types of shoes are planned
- Handcuffs are newly coming to H1Z1, players can attempt to break free from them, with each attempt increasing the chance, the system will continue to expand with new restraints and also more ways to escape them
- A new inventory slot for chest armor is being introduced, players will start with two makeshift armors. To craft them, players should look out for “Duct Tape”.
- There is now a new stamina value, which decreases while sprinting. Players can replenish it by resting in a bed. A night’s sleep also provides a temporary HP and stamina bonus.
- And a new “Death Screen” is coming, which summarizes a player’s achievements until their death in H1Z1
