In H1Z1 , a new mode is being tested in “King of the Kill”.
Since Friday, “Ingition” is live: In this mode, players start with an ATV and a strapped bomb. They have to quickly gather equipment and reach a safe zone, or else it goes “Boom.” The team has worked on this mode for a while and now finds it fun and explosive enough to hand over to the players.
“King of the Kill” is the action/arena mode of H1Z1, separate from the survival aspect, which is set to appear on consoles Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this summer. Apparently, they are now pushing a little bit harder. Recently, they also presented a new Skirmish mode.
Since Friday, the “Everyone starts simultaneously” rule is also active, and some changes to the interface are taking effect. They are also working on a new, larger, and better map for H1Z1 , but that will take some time.
