In the survival game H1Z1 comes a feature that fans have been waiting for: player corpses will rise again as zombies.
In zombie movies, one of the great twists is: everyone dies twice. Just moments ago, you were rooting for one of the survivors and cheering, then the Z’s caught him and turned him into one of their own. And now the former hero wants to feast on his friends’ flesh or brains – tastes vary.
This very feature is now finalized for H1Z1: players who die will return as zombies. If others want to loot, they will have to take out the zombie. When exactly this will happen is currently unclear. The features will be integrated into the live game when they are ready for it. Before that, it will go back to the test server.
Other improvements that are planned include:
- Better performance
- Fewer exploits
- Servers with a clear end date that will experience a wipe after 1, 2 or 3 weeks where a survival winner will be crowned
- Boss zombies for the MMO version “Just Survive”
- And an improvement system for the weapons
With H1Z1, it is somewhat difficult to clearly understand what is planned for which version. H1Z1 has been split into two parts: “Just Survive” emphasizes crafting and MMO aspects; King of the Kill is more about arcade mode for faster, concluded matches and action. King of the Kill is also set to be released soon for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – Just Survive will remain in early access for PC players for a while longer.
