The Dragon Blows the Attack
The first expansion of Guild Wars 2, Heart of Thorns, is slowly but surely approaching its release. To prepare the players for the new threat, a special in-game event will take place next week. From September 10 to 13, the Mordrem will invade three well-known areas. The Brisban Wildlands, the Kessex Hills and the Diessa Plateau will be regularly attacked by the minions of the Dragon Mordremoth – and must be defended by the players.
As a reward for defeating the draconic servants, Mordrem blooms can be exchanged for various goods at Durmand Abbey.
Since Guild Wars has only been free for a few days, it is noted that players should have reached at least level 18 to participate in the event; otherwise, encounters could quickly lead to the death of their character.
By the way, the developers will also enter the game and be present during the commotion. All participants of the event are invited to share interesting screenshots of the events on Twitter or send them directly to the official Tumblr account. The Guild Wars 2 team will publish the best captures throughout the following week.
