The reddit user UnsettledParadox posted a clip on reddit demonstrating how the trick works in Stab City. This is a survival map where waves of enemies appear gradually. You can find it under “Online”, “Survival Challenges”, and then “Stab City Survival Challenge”.
Stab City takes place in a trailer park. In the northern part of the map, you will find a rusty, large, empty ditch. Jump in there and switch to first-person view. Then use the cover function and shoot over the edge of the ditch.
The advantage of the first-person view is that enemies will shoot at the ditch and not at your head. This means you are rarely hit and take only occasional fire from enemies.

Things to consider: You should not kill the waves too quickly. Players on reddit have explained that they received less money because they completed all the waves too quickly. So wait a bit in the ditch before you finish off the enemies.
