The heist update for GTA 5 Online brings new retro arcades into the game. We show you how to get them for free with Twitch Prime and save a lot of money.
When is the heist update coming? The release of the new Diamond Casino Heists is scheduled for December 12 – players waited 2 years for a new heist.
Part of the update is available for free to Twitch Prime members.
This new heist is planned in a retro arcade that you need to purchase as the creator of the heist. The price for it is not yet clear, but it will likely cost at least several hundred thousand GTA dollars. Properties from other DLCs cost hundreds of thousands or even millions of dollars. The heist at the casino will likely be the biggest heist that GTA Online has ever seen.
Here’s how to get the arcade for free: As in previous DLCs, Rockstar Games offers special bonuses to Twitch Prime members. In the latest update, it is the retro arcade that you either acquire directly for free or for which you will later get the money back.
What you need to do is connect your Social Club account with Twitch Prime. Below we show you how to do that and how to test it for free if you are not yet a Prime member.
Unlock free arcade in GTA Online
What do you have to do? Rockstar explains that as part of the partnership with Twitch Prime (Amazon), they want to offer new content corresponding to the new Diamond Casino Heist.
- Players who linked their Twitch Prime accounts with their Social Club account by December 8 can acquire the retro arcade directly for free
- Players who link their Twitch Prime accounts after December 8 will have to pay the full price for the arcade in the game first, but will receive the full amount back within 72 hours
- In both cases, it concerns Pixel-Pete’s arcade in Paleto Bay. Other arcades in other locations on the map will require payment.

Test Twitch Prime for free – Connect with Social Club
I don’t have Twitch Prime: If you’ve never had a Twitch Prime account, you can get it for free for 30 days. This allows you to unlock the new arcade completely free of charge.
If you’ve already had the trial subscription and don’t want to start Twitch Prime again, you can earn a lot of money quickly in GTA Online and afford the arcade.

Test Amazon Prime for 30 DaysThen connect your Twitch account on Twitch.tv with your Amazon account, where the trial subscription is active. Once you have successfully completed this, you will receive a Twitch Prime status for the duration of your Amazon Prime account.
Now connect your Rockstar Games Social Club account with the Twitch account that has Prime status.
On the page socialclub.rockstargames.com, you can create an account for this if you do not yet have a Social Club account. It is free. Register there via email or with your Xbox Live or PSN account.
Once your Social Club account and your Twitch Prime are connected, you are ready to use the in-game bonuses. If you now log into GTA Online or Red Dead Redemption 2, the rewards will be available to you.
