You will be rewarded for that. And that’s also the case with the latest treasure hunt.
With the release of the Casino update in GTA Online, a new treasure hunt was started. You need to find playing cards. And the rewards for that are impressive.
Playing Card Treasure Hunt in GTA Online – Map with Locations
The task: The team at Rockstar Games explains on the website that there are “a few interesting items” you should find.
What is being searched for? Playing cards from the 19th century. A total of 54 playing cards are hidden for players to find.
Where is the search taking place? The cards are scattered “across the state.” Players from the GTA community have already extracted the locations of the cards from the game data and created a map.

You can check your search progress through the interaction menu. You will find the progress under Inventory > Collectibles.
The creator of the map provides help for the search on their YouTube channel. Here, m_m_trampblack shows a speedrun in 38 minutes, demonstrating how he collects all 54 cards. You will find every hideout there if you don’t want to go searching yourself.
The Rewards of the Treasure Hunt in GTA Online and Red Dead Online
Finding each card is rewarded with RP and chips. Chips are the tokens you play with in the casino of GTA Online.
The big reward in GTA Online: If you find all 54 cards, you unlock the exclusive “The Player” outfit. In addition, you receive a unique set of cards for your croupier, allowing you to play Blackjack and 3-Card Poker.

The big reward in Red Dead Online: The reward for the cowboy fans among you is still a secret. Rockstar writes that it is “a special item” that will be available later this year.
