In GTA Online there are glitches in horse racing that can bring players millions of GTA dollars in a short time. With these cheats, players fill their pockets, even though Rockstar actually fixed the issue.
This is the situation: On July 23, the casino opened in GTA Online. There are plenty of gambling options available: A lucky wheel, slot machines, blackjack, poker, and even virtual horse racing.
However, in horse racing, there is a glitch that rewards players with far too high payouts. They earn millions of chips per hour, which they can then exchange for GTA currency.
For days, players filled their pockets with a glitch in horse racing. Then on August 7, the news appeared: “Rockstar has fixed the glitch in horse racing.” Players were sad that they could no longer exploit this mechanic.
Just a few hours later, there was a sigh of relief in the glitch community: “Guys, the glitch still works. Just a little differently.”
What kind of glitch is this? The horse race “Inside Track” in GTA Online is easy to explain. You bet on one of the 6 displayed horses. If the horse you bet on finishes 1st, you win chips according to the odds. The more you bet, the more you can win.
Thanks to a glitch, players are only deducted 200 chips, while in the background, the bet continues to increase. There are payouts of at least 20,000 chips for a winning race, even though you hardly spend any chips for it.
This way, players easily earn 1.5 million chips per hour. They can then exchange this 1:1 for in-game currency. Because you can even execute the glitch “afk” with a script, it is very popular.
On August 7, Rockstar fixed the original method of the glitch. This was shared by data miner TezFunz2 on Twitter.
But players found out just a few hours later how to continue cheating. This is evident from a look into the subreddit of the glitch community. By modifying a part of the glitch, it can still be executed. This is “a bit more inconvenient,” but it works just like usual.
So Rockstar probably has to step up again and find another way to get the glitch under control. A similar event occurred with the big Lester glitch in GTA Online, which enriched players with millions of dollars.
Is it allowed to use the glitch? We advise against cheating in this glitch in GTA Online horse racing. This mechanic is not intended by the game. Some players on Reddit already report that after using this glitch for hours, they were banned from activities in the casino.
