After a long wait, Rockstar finally shows a new trailer for GTA 6. This time, not only the world is shown, but also first story content and information about the two main characters.
It has now been 1.5 years since we were able to see the first trailer for GTA 6. After that, it was quiet for a long time, and now we know, that GTA 6 will not be released in 2025, but on May 26, 2026.
What does the trailer show? Without prior announcement, Rockstar has now released another trailer for the game. For the first time, we see more about the story and especially more about the two main characters Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos.
A couple aims high
What can be seen in the trailer? In the second trailer for GTA 6, we learn more context about the two main characters. In the first trailer, it was already shown that Lucia is serving a prison sentence. The new trailer shows how Lucia is picked up from prison by Jason. Their greeting shows that they probably have not seen each other for a while.
The trailer also clearly conveys the Bonnie and Clyde
atmosphere. We see not only how the couple commits various crimes and heists, but also experiences some leisure activities and emotional moments. As Rockstar reveals on their website, fate does not seem to be kind to the two.
The trailer also shows that you can explore the sunny metropolis of Vice City with various vehicles, helicopters, and jet skis. The graphics of the city also look quite impressive.
How does the community react? Among the comments on the official YouTube video, there are many joyful comments, and no one is upset that the game has been delayed, even though they joke about the waiting time:
