What does the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3 say about the price of GTA 6? Michael Douse, known on X.com as Very AFK (@Cromwelp), has recently commented on video game prices. He is not a fan of games using “vague promises of content [editor’s note: to inflate] Ultimate Editions to make the base price look better.”
His contribution included an image of the Ultimate Edition of Star Wars Outlaws, which includes the base game, a pre-order bonus, 3 days early access to the game, the season pass, a “Rogue Infiltrator” bundle, a “Sabacc Shark” bundle, and a digital art book. Price: €129.99.
According to him, games should be priced according to their “quality, breadth, and depth,” writes the developer of Baldur’s Gate 3 on X.com. According to his post on X.com, “almost all games […] should fundamentally cost more, as production costs (for example inflation) outpace price development.”
