The most hotly anticipated new game for several years is Grand Theft Auto 6, an action role-playing game by Rockstar Games. A release of GTA 6 is expected between April 2024 and March 2025. A leak showing 49 seconds of gameplay is now causing discussions,
This is the situation with GTA 6:
- The GTA series is one of the most successful game franchises in the world. GTA 5 made online gaming in the style of MMOs on consoles popular in 2013, and the successor, GTA 6, is highly anticipated.
- According to current financial reports from Take-Two, a release of GTA 6 is planned between April 2024 and March 2025. Therefore, a release date around the end of 2024 for the Christmas release season is likely, perhaps in September or October 2024.
- Currently, there is still little official information regarding GTA 6, but in September 2022, a major leak revealed information. Much to the annoyance of Rockstar.
49-second clip shows seamless switching between characters
This clip is now being discussed: A user shared a 49-second gameplay leak on Twitter.
The leak shows the two main characters of GTA, Jason and Lucia.
It is believed that actress Alexandra Echavarri (FBI) may serve as the model for Lucia. Actor Bryan Zampella (Fight of Fury) is assumed to be the voice actor for Jason.
This feature is being discussed: The leaker particularly highlights the seamless transition between the two protagonists in the clip.
At one moment, you control and observe Luca, in the next moment, the player walks out onto the street with Jason and is then back in the hotel room as Luca after a “switch” sound effect.
In the lower right corner of the screen, a control button with the option “Switch to Luca” can be seen, which is briefly visible twice before the switch. In the background, the radio appears to be playing.

The leaker points out that the graphics are already great, even though GTA 6 is still in the alpha stage.
GTA 6 also made headlines at Gamescom, albeit not with gameplay material, but through a disturbance:
