You have probably stolen this jet in GTA 5 Online at least once. You can now buy it for a lot of money through an update.
You can steal the Lazer jet in GTA 5 from Fort Zancudo. You can find it in both singleplayer and multiplayer modes. In the past, it took a lot of luck to steal the jet as heavily armed soldiers guard the aircraft. Owners of a hangar had an advantage as they earned the trust of the airport staff.
With the new “GTA 5 Online” update, the element of luck decreases since the jet is now available for purchase. However, you need to fork out a hefty sum of money.
P-996 Lazer Jet costs several million
If you have enough money, you can skip the jet theft and simply store it in your own hangar in the future. Gone are the heists where you speed over the jump ramp in a super sports car to land in Fort Zancudo. You can also skip the subsequent shootout with the soldiers on site, because for just 6.5 million GTA dollars, the P-996 Lazer Jet is now for sale.
If you already own a hangar in Fort Zancudo, you can also easily steal the Lazer. Compared to the Hydra jet (costs about 3 million GTA dollars), the Lazer is extremely expensive.
The purchase of this aircraft is more aimed at players who already have a lot of money in the online mode of GTA 5 and don’t know what to do with it.
GTA 5 Update 1.41 – Patch Notes
The developers updated the following patch notes for GTA 5 Update 1.41:
- A new aircraft has been added to GTA Online and can be purchased at Warstock
- P-996 Lazer
- New props have been added for the racing creator mode
- New transformer options have been added for racing creator. These include special and armed vehicles
Double GTA$ and RP for everything!
For the next 14 days, there will be double GTA$ and RP rewards for many jobs in GTA 5 Online. These rewards will last until December 11 and apply to the following activities:
- Transformation races
- Special vehicle missions
- Biker club house missions
- Motor Wars
- Stockpile
- Every Bullet Counts
- Inch By Inch
- Running Back
- Pay for bodyguards and employees
