Update December 5th 21:50: Rockstar Games has now officially confirmed that there will be a Casino Heist. Under the title “The Diamond Casino Heist”, the new heist will be available in the game on December 12th. There will also be a new business that players can buy: a retro arcade.
The special thing about this new heist is that Rockstar Games gives players many freedoms in how to approach the operation. Even if all plans fail, there is still a chance to win the heist. We have summarized all the new info about the Casino Heist in GTA Online for you.
What has been announced? The Rockstar Games team shared a teaser video on social media, which apparently announces a new heist. In the short clip, you can see the Diamond Casino and Resort and Lester hacking into the scene. For many players, it’s clear: this is meant to announce a new heist that all players can soon experience in GTA Online.

It seems that this heist is related to the big December update that Rockstar has already announced.
What do you see in the video? First, you see the casino building that was recently completed in GTA Online. At the beginning, a money transporter drives off the yard. The image is captioned “Score Big in Los Santos”.
Then you see the video from a surveillance camera following a person in the casino with a briefcase. Then the heist specialist Lester hacks into the video and shows his digital portrait.

Why is this well received? The reactions to this teaser are extremely positive. Such a new heist comes just in time for GTA Online players, as the last new heist was released with the Doomsday update – and that was two years ago.
