Additional content for GTA 5 Online is regularly released, making new vehicles, game modes, weapons, or clothing available in the game. Larger DLCs like Further Adventures in Finance and Felony or Bikers bring a whole new gameplay experience. If you can earn millions of GTA$ as a CEO or sell drugs as a motorcycle club leader, you have the opportunity to afford the new vehicles that are regularly released. A forum post shows a list of DLCs that could be released by 2020.
Law and Order as a possible DLC for GTA 5 Online
A listing of possible DLCs for GTA 5 Online was already published in August on gtaforums.com. There was also discussion about a Bikers DLC, whose official announcement was not until September. The leaked list shows all DLCs that are set to arrive in GTA 5 Online by 2020.
- Biker DLC – Motorcycles, clothing, and free mode missions: Buy clubhouses to activate free mode missions.
- Law and Order DLC – Free driving with police and vehicles: Buy police vehicles to start free mode missions as police.
- The Luxury Living DLC – Mansions and pets: When you buy a mansion, you can also buy exotic pets for it.
- The Blaine County and Paleto DLC – Animals in free mode: Possible hunting equipment and hunting license can be acquired to activate hunting objects. New warehouses and properties.
- North Yankton and Liberty City (Online map expansion) – Paid DLC for September 2017 – Still incomplete.
- San Fierro and Las Ventures (Online map expansion) – 2nd paid DLC for October 2018 – Still incomplete.
- Vice City – Not before GTA 6 – Earliest in 2020
According to Softsecrets, the creator of the list, San Fierro and Las Ventures were built simultaneously with Los Santos. Since these maps likely exceeded the framework of the game, they have not yet made it into the game. Work is being done to release them in October 2018. Additional single-player content has been replaced by the online map expansion, largely due to the unexpected success of microtransactions and GTA 5 Online in general.
The forum post also states that Liberty City will be released in September 2017 and has the following content:
- Exclusive VIP membership that grants access to The Casino in Los Santos.
- A pre-order bonus of 1 million GTA casino chips.
- (GTA casino chips cannot be purchased through microtransactions)
- Liberty City, North Yankton, and the casino are slated to be released simultaneously, allowing players to spread out and avoid overcrowding.
- With Liberty City, you can trade on the stock market after purchasing a property for it (Similar to how it currently works with CEO missions).
- Both map DLCs will be full-price titles.
