Since 2015, Gronkh and the guys from PietSmiet have been hosting their annual charity event Friendly Fire on Twitch. In 2024, the big anniversary edition will be all about Assassin’s Creed. On MeinMMO you will find all the information about the event.
What kind of event is this? Friendly Fire is a charitable event held annually by Twitch streamers Erik “Gronkh” Range and the Gamer group PietSmiet. In a 12-hour stream, the content creators compete against each other in entertaining competitions and goof around.
The whole fun is for a good cause: Last year, over 1 million euros in donations were raised for charities such as children’s aid or the train station mission. In 2024, the charity gala will reach its 10th round, and we have all the information for you regarding the big anniversary event.
This time the theme is Japan with Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Friendly Fire turns 10: All info on the big anniversary edition
What is the theme of Friendly Fire 10? Once again, Ubisoft has been secured as the main sponsor, who already set the theme in 2020 with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and in 2021 with Far Cry 6. This time, the recently postponed Assassin’s Creed Shadows serves as inspiration.

Where will Friendly Fire 10 be streamed? The stream will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, starting at 3:00 PM on the Twitch channel of PietSmiet. The pre-show with the countdown to the event will start at 2:00 PM.
Where will the donations go? For the event, 7 charitable organizations in addition to the Friendly Fire emergency fund have been selected. They will be introduced as usual in the one-hour countdown before the actual event.

To date, more than 10 million euros have been raised for charitable purposes with Friendly Fire. The record is held by the seventh edition with almost 2 million euros, and it remains to be seen whether the team around Gronkh and the Piets can top this record at the big anniversary event.
