The first free update Gator Rush has been released for the online racing game The Crew 2. This brings you new disciplines, vehicles, better loot, and more innovations.
For a long time, there has been silence around The Crew 2. After it recently performed rather mediocre and there were no major innovations, the first free update Gator Rush is now available.
Gator Rush brings you a new vehicle class, more events, and better loot. We summarize all the innovations of the update for you.

Hovercraft races are coming as a new discipline
Gator Rush introduces a new vehicle class, the hovercrafts. For this, a dedicated discipline with ten events has also been set up.
What are hovercrafts? Hovercrafts create a type of cushion from air between themselves and the ground, allowing them to float. Therefore, they are capable of traveling both on land and on water.
For the hovercraft races, three vehicles and ten new events are spread throughout the virtual USA.
These are the new hovercrafts:
- Proto BumbleBEEX
- Proto Double L-EEX
- Proto Speedster
The swamp areas in the south have been expanded for the new discipline to provide enough space for the races.

The other disciplines will also be supplied with new events. Gator Rush brings three
- Hypercar events
- Touring car events
- Jetsprint events
- and a Live Xtrem Series event
With the hovercraft races, Gator Rush thus includes a total of 20 new events through which you can earn credits.
New difficulty level and better loot
Gator Rush additionally introduces a new difficulty level called “Ass” that you can choose for each race.
What does the Ass difficulty level bring? You can receive new legendary loot by completing a race at the highest difficulty level. The parts available as a result will have new properties and thus give you more options to customize your vehicles.
