You can earn free skins for Battlefield 6 that pay homage to the legendary parts of the series, but nostalgia fans will hate the task

There are free skins for Battlefield 6, but to get them, you need to play something that veterans of the series are not fans of.

What are these free skins? You have the opportunity to earn 30 exclusive rewards for free until the release of Battlefield 6. These rewards include various cosmetic content, such as paint jobs for tanks and soldier skins.

The cosmetic content is all inspired by previous installments of the series, including Battlefield 1, Battlefield V, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, and Battlefield 4. Especially BF 3, 4, and Bad Company 2 are considered legendary installments of the shooter.

Free skins for BF6, but you need to play a lot

How do you get the skins? The skins are part of the Battle Pass of Battlefield 2042. Overall, this pass contains over 60 free tiers and over 50 rewards based on the old Battlefield games.

So you’ll need to diligently play Battlefield 2042 in the coming weeks until the release of Battlefield 6 and level up the Battle Pass if you want to secure the free skins. You will receive the skins and other content at tiers 8, 19, 30, 40, 49, and 60.

Each tier gives a skin and additional hidden content that you will only see when you reach the respective tier in the Battle Pass.

Why do veterans hate this task? Battlefield 2042 is extremely unpopular among long-term fans of the shooter series and was heavily criticized at release.
