In the Microsoft-supported MOBA Gigantic, PC players can soon compete against console gamers and finally determine who is better. The action-packed game will soon launch into a cross-platform open beta on Windows 10 and Xbox One.
The showdown between PC players and console gamers is approaching! Because on December 8, 2016, players on Windows 10 and Xbox One can play together and against each other in Motiga’s action-packed MOBA Gigantic: An open beta starts.
Microsoft’s “Play Anywhere” concept enables true cross-platform play on the two Microsoft systems.
PC vs Console? Only with Windows 10!
In the upcoming open beta, you will have a total of 16 heroes, but only six of them will be offered in a weekly rotation. The battles revolve around capturing points, knocking back enemy heroes, and finally unleashing our giant beast on the opponent’s creature. Only when your monster crushes the enemy’s creature can you deal damage to the beast. Once enough hits are scored, the beast will perish, and you will have won. A total of three maps are available for this purpose.

To enable cross-platform gameplay, you must not play Gigantic on PC through the publisher Perfect World’s game client ARC. Instead, you must install and play the game exclusively through the Windows 10 app store. Only then is compatibility with Xbox guaranteed. By the way, if you want to start playing now: A closed beta will take place from December 1 to 4, 2016.
What do you think about cross-platform gameplay in Gigantic? A good thing or pointless, as you believe PC gamers and console players do not really have the same chances? And how do you feel about the obligation to use the Windows 10 game app? Let us know and write it in the comments!
