In the “Fallen Ghosts” DLC for Ghost Recon Wildlands, there are supposed to be new, powerful weapons. The guns and the appearance of the new enemies are shown in a leak.
The “Fallen Ghosts” expansion for GRW is expected to be released for Premium Pass holders later this month. The first look at the content of this DLC has been received better by many players than the racing content of the “Narco Road” expansion.
Fallen Ghosts brings new enemy types, side missions, and weapons into the game. These possible contents have now been released in a leak. Keep in mind that a leak does not guarantee this content but should rather be considered a type of test content that may change before release.
Weapons from Fallen Ghosts – Leak
In recent weeks, we have already reported on leaks that were published in the Farcrymods forum. These leaks dealt with the expected PvP mode and its weapons and classes.
For the new DLC, player JRavens has found interesting images. The expansion is supposed to offer 25 weapons, of which six are new to the game. There should also be a selection of legendary weapons (with unique skins that cannot be modified).
Crossbow: This weapon is available in the standard version as “silent killer” and with explosive shots for extra punch.
PSG1: The PSG1 is a sniper rifle that has long been present in the game’s code with a skeleton skin and is now expected to be released with Fallen Ghosts.
BFG-50: Here we have a particularly powerful version of a sniper rifle. Its power is reportedly comparable to the HTI rifle, which can easily shoot helicopters out of the sky.
PDR: The letters PDR stand for Personal Defense Rifle. It is a bullpup weapon that visually gives a futuristic impression.
MDR: Another model with a futuristic look, which is also a bullpup weapon. The Micro Dynamic Rifle has benefits through good handling, speed, and power.
In the data, JRavens unfortunately only found these five special weapons and therefore wonders what Ubisoft considers to be included in the category “weapons.” In the code, he found a special EMP grenade that might fill the slot of the sixth weapon. Other sources speculate about a GALIL weapon.
Enemy Types and Side Missions
For the “Fallen Ghosts” DLC, the developers introduced four new enemy types that are designed to make your life harder in various ways. Some are super stealthy and barely visible in the game, while others you can see well, but they can take a lot of damage.
- Covert Ops are likely to become your new hate enemies in Fallen Ghosts, as they are really hard to spot. Given how stealthy these enemies are, we should actually be disguised as “Ghosts” ourselves. In the following image, you can see the Covert Ops (or not). Good counter? Thermal imaging camera!
- Armored Enemies wear heavy armor, so you can only inflict minimal damage to their bodies. Aim for the head when taking them on.
- Elite Snipers are supposed to be even stronger than the already existing snipers. A good counter is likely to be a player on your own team who is skilled with sniper rifles.
- Jammer are essentially mobile jammers and can be quite annoying. Eliminate them quickly so they don’t prevent you from using drones or other technical equipment.
Side Missions:
In the code, JRavens found hints of these four side missions:
- Sabotage: You probably need to destroy objects, steal data, or infect systems with viruses.
- Wild Tower: It is unclear whether these are extra bases or individual watchtowers spread across the map.
- Save the VIP: Here you probably need to help agents who are undercover in Bolivia.
- Headhunter: These missions are likely in the typical bounty hunter style, where you need to eliminate dangerous targets.
The images in this article come from the leak published by JRavens in the Farcrymods forum.
