The servers of Ghost Recon Wildlands will be shut down today for PC players. The reason for this is the update to Patch 3.0.
A new patch is on the way for Ghost Recon Wildlands. More specifically, it is only available for PC players, as the update was already released for PS4 and Xbox One the day before yesterday. The new Patch 3.0 brings not only the Live Season challenges but also plenty of bug fixes for players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
From this afternoon, the Ghost Recon Wildlands servers will be down to activate update 3.0.
Update: The maintenance work was completed earlier, and the PC servers should be back online. Enjoy playing!
Ghost Recon Wildlands: Server Status 14.4 – Temporarily offline
During a two-hour server maintenance on this Friday, the GRW servers will be offline. In a thread on the Ubisoft forum, the team states that the PC servers of Ghost Recon Wildlands will be offline today from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM because they are being updated to Patch 3.0. If there are any issues or delays, we will update this article for you and inform you here.
This server maintenance only affects online games. If you are in a game session when the servers go down, your session will continue offline with AI members. Please note that you must have the same game version as your friends in co-op mode to play together. Players with different game versions cannot play together in multiplayer mode.
In Patch 3.0, PC players can expect some bug fixes. These include fixes for issues with Steam controllers and general stability problems. In addition to the specific PC fixes, there are also general gameplay changes that prevent the Ghosts from continuously repeating their dialogues. Starting from 18.4, we can also expect the Live Season challenges. There are solo and co-op challenges that you can take on. For this, you can expect up to three unique rewards per season.
