In a few days, the open beta of Ghost Recon Wildlands begins. You can now start the preload – and check out the areas without enemies.
On Thursday (February 23), the open beta of Ghost Recon Wildlands starts. Until February 27, you have time to fight your way through the missions and take on the Santa Blanca drug cartel. With up to four players, you can solve different missions in co-op mode stealthily or go “loud” with heavy weapons and violence. Starting today, the preload of Wildlands is available.
Ghost Recon Wildlands – Preload active
To ensure you have the game fully downloaded in time for the open beta start, you can begin the preload today. The download is approximately 23.55 GB in size. If you still have the client of the closed beta installed, the update is only 19.51 GB in size. In total, the open beta will consume approximately 25-27 GB of hard drive space. The final game is expected to require about 50 GB of hard drive space.
You can get an even better picture of the areas of Wildlands with this interactive map. As you can see in the video, you can explore daily life in virtual Bolivia, which has been transformed into a drug state by the Santa Blanca cartel, with 50 cameras.
