Before Ghost Recon Wildlands is officially released tomorrow, Ubisoft shows you in the launch trailer what the game is about. You’ll get to know your enemies in the video and get hints as to why these individuals are involved in the drug trade. Parachuting from helicopters is just as much a part of the tactical shooter as sneaking up on enemies to take them down silently.
Heavy Weapons in Single Player and Co-op Mode
Accompanied by a lot of action, you’ll dive into the world of Ghost Recon Wildlands in the video. Miniguns and grenade launchers are your weapons against enemies from the Santa Blanca drug cartel. You decide whether to undertake your adventures in single-player mode with the help of AI teammates, or whether to utilize the co-op option of Wildlands. In multiplayer mode, you can form teams of up to four players and solve story-driven and side missions together.
Depending on your preferred playstyle, you can complete missions loudly and with a bang, or quietly in stealth mode without drawing much attention. If the silent approach doesn’t work, you grab your shotguns and assault rifles instead and clear your way.
While some players report that they can already play Ghost Recon Wildlands, the official launch of the game is only happening tonight. So far, it seems that players who purchased Wildlands as a DVD version and not a digital version are eligible for the early start. Owners of Steam versions will have to wait longer for the start than players on Uplay.
