Sniper rifles are popular in Ghost Recon Wildlands, as they allow for precise elimination of enemies at long distances. With snipers, you can also defend against enemy vehicles that annoy you during missions. The HTI is the showcase sniper in the community when it comes to quickly destroying helicopters. We will show you where to find this powerful weapon in Wildlands.
HTI Location – Find the sniper and destroy helicopters
You will have a lot of fun with the HTI in Ghost Recon Wildlands. Together with the skill “Vehicle Destruction“, enemy vehicles are no longer a problem for you. Small helicopters can even be destroyed with a single shot.
You will find this weapon in Montuyoc in a weapon crate. We explain exactly where this crate is located in this guide.
- First, head to the east of Montuyoc – the fastest way is by helicopter. How you get to this location is up to you.
- If you arrive by helicopter, you should fly low.
- The area is secured by air defense missiles. The station is near the target area. You can see the location of the air defense in the following image.
- Once you hopefully arrive at the target area in one piece, you need to carefully approach the camp in front of you.
- It works quite well to come from the mountains in the east. Use the “climbing” ability on the rocks.
- The watchtower that you find on the way to the camp was not manned during our tests. However, we found three soldiers that we quietly took out on the way to the weapon crate.
- Unfortunately, you cannot use a drone here, as there are jammers in the camp that make the drone’s feed nearly useless.
- Once you have cleared the way and are in the camp, you will see several black objects on the minimap.
- One of these objects represents a container that you should visit. In the following image, we show the location of the container.
- Be careful of possible patrols that may be near the container.
- Now enter the container to find the weapon crate and pick up the weapon.
- Now the HTI is in your possession, and you can try it out right in the camp.
