Two German rappers take on the speaking roles of gangster bosses in Ghost Recon Wildlands. We show you whose voices you can hear in the game.
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, you can overrun bases with friends and take down many “Bad Guys” to fight against their illegal businesses. On the opposing side are people involved in drug smuggling and other crimes, instilling fear in entire regions. The voices of members of the Mexican drug cartel might sound familiar to you.
Farid Bang and KC Rebell in Ghost Recon Wildlands
The rappers Farid Bang and KC Rebell are part of Ghost Recon Wildlands. They lend their voices to two members of the Santa Blanca cartel. This cartel has control over all of Bolivia through its drug trade and must be toppled by you. Both Ubisoft and Banger Musik are looking forward to the collaboration.
Regarding the collaboration with Ubisoft, Ralph M. Jacobs, the manager of Banger Musik, says:
“We are very pleased to collaborate with Ubisoft. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands offers a fantastic setting. Farid and KC didn’t think long and stepped into the recording booths. We are excited to be a part of this great experience and thank Ubisoft for this collaboration.”
Also, the marketing director of Ubisoft GSA, Benedikt Schüler, is looking forward to the collaboration. He says that Farid Bang and KC Rebell are the “perfect cast” for these roles. Furthermore, both rappers are an asset to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon.
The collaboration is also generating a lot of discussion on social networks. On Farid Bang’s Facebook page, you can read divided opinions in the comments. One user says that the game’s sales rate would rise solely because of this casting. Meanwhile, others write that this voice casting is a reason not to buy the game.
