The CharacterSmith in Ghost Recon Wildlands is used to customize the Ghosts’ equipment. We will show you how it works.
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands, the developers send you as part of a special team behind enemy lines. Together with experts, the development team has chosen equipment for the characters that special forces use in clandestine operations. Everything the Ghosts wear and use in the game looks like equipment and items currently used in the field.
The CharacterSmith in Wildlands
One of your first actions in Ghost Recon Wildlands will be the customization of your character. The CharacterSmith will help you design your game character. You can customize gender, face, hair, headgear, upper body, tattoos, pants, and shoes. There are over a billion possible combinations available to help make the Ghost look unique.
At the beginning of the game, a wide selection of equipment is available to you. The more operations you play, the more equipment you can gradually unlock. When you want to use a new piece of equipment, you can access the CharacterSmith at any time in the game and customize your gear.
There are many pre-made faces available for both male and female Ghosts.
The outfit is fully customizable. You can choose clothes that blend with the Bolivian environment or go with your personal taste and select corresponding gear. If you can’t decide or don’t want to spend much time on your character’s appearance, you can choose from many different pre-made outfits.
Up to six different setups can be saved and changed at any time. This way, you quickly have specific outfits on hand when you want to adapt to different regions. The exciting regions of Ghost Recon Wildlands are presented here with videos.
The weather and environment play an important role in relation to your outfit. Your actions will also affect the appearance of your clothing. Clothing will get dirty, wet, or muddy when you move through appropriate environments or weather conditions.
