The large open world in Ubisoft’s new tactical shooter offers situations where you can kill enemies from a great distance. Sniper rifles are particularly well suited for this, thanks to their high range and precision. In this article, we show you all sniper rifles from Ghost Recon Wildlands and the requirements to unlock these weapons.
Unlock new weapons
Weapons are rewards for exploring areas or defeating specific enemies. While you can pick up and use weapons from “normal” enemies, they do not remain permanently in your inventory. Wildlands offers you a selection of various weapon types such as:
- Light machine guns
- Submachine guns
- Sniper rifles
- Shotguns

In Ghost Recon Wildlands, not only do you have many different types of weapons to choose from, but you also have a large selection of different models within each category. Currently, there are 17 sniper rifles available in Ghost Recon Wildlands. You can read their strengths and weaknesses on the following displays:

- Unlock M40A5: You can find this weapon in the Itacua Echo camp. Right after the liberation mission with the helicopter at the beginning of the game.
