The Ghost Recon Wildlands maintenance will take place on October 10th. To prepare the servers for the Ghost War update, they will be unavailable for about 10 hours.
On Tuesday, you will have to forgo the online service of Ghost Recon Wildlands for a few hours. The reason for this is the PvP update that players have been waiting for so long. Finally, the PvP battles are officially starting.
Grab some friends and dive into the 4v4 deathmatch battles. You’ll experience GRW from a completely different perspective.
Server offline on October 10th
Update: October 10th, 8:50 AM: Due to technical difficulties, the release of Title Update 8 on PC has been postponed to Thursday, October 12th, at 1 PM. This delay also affects the release of Ghost War on PC. The developers are already working on a solution to the problem and hope to make the patch available for PC sooner.
Consoles are not affected by this issue and will receive their eighth title update as usual at the end of the maintenance on October 10th.

In the forum, the “Ghost Recon Wildlands” team announced scheduled maintenance for October 10th. Starting at 9:00 AM (German time), the major maintenance work will begin. The servers will be updated to the new, free PvP update called “Ghost War”.
During the maintenance, there will also be a patch for the campaign mode of Ghost Recon Wildlands. In the afternoon, the developers plan to provide us with the corresponding patch notes so that we know what changes the update brings.
Before the maintenance is fully completed, you cannot play Ghost War. According to the plan, everything should be finished by 7:00 PM. However, possible complications could alter the schedule.
Keep in mind that the server downtime only affects online play. If you are already in a gaming session, your teammates will be replaced by AI players at the start of the maintenance. You can alternatively continue playing alone, without AI players.
Ghost what?
Ghost War is the standalone, free PvP mode in Ghost Recon Wildlands. All owners of the game can start after the maintenance and dive into the player-versus-player battles.
With the class selection, each match plays out a bit differently. Choose from tanks, supporters, and snipers the class that fits your preferred playstyle. You fight in two teams, each consisting of four players, against each other.
In September, an open beta was already active, allowing players to get a first look at this PvP mode.
