Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS, Android, Switch & Xbox One) has a new package with free skins for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Those currently subscribed to Sony’s service will receive a new glider, a pickaxe, and a fall animation for free. How to get these items and what they cost is explained here.
What’s included in the PlayStation Plus bonus package? Those who treat themselves to the PlayStation Plus subscription can look forward to three free Fortnite items:
- A white-blue glider with funny wobbly eyes
- A harvesting tool that resembles a DualShock controller. It has two buttons and a micro-USB port.
- A fall animation in the colors of the PS4 controller buttons

Skin package for little money
How to get the bonus package? To obtain the three skins, all you need to do is have an active PlayStation Plus subscription during the time the items are available. You’ll receive the skins at no additional cost and can use them in the game.
What do the items cost me? The PlayStation Plus subscription costs depending on the duration 7.99 Euros (1 month), 24.99 Euros (3 months), or 59.99 Euros (12 months). Overall, you are getting a bargain considering that harvesting tools and gliders usually cost around 5 Euros each when purchased in the in-game shop.
Are there offers for other platforms as well? So far, Epic has offered special skins and packages for Samsung smartphones, Twitch Prime customers, and the PlayStation Plus subscription. However, Epic might also offer special exclusive deals for Xbox and Switch players in the future. They have been left out so far.
If you have linked your PlayStation account with your Epic account, you can also use the PlayStation Plus skins on PC or smartphones with iOS and Android operating systems.
