Today, on April 13th, the prize money of the German Computer Game Award will be awarded. We will explain to you where you can watch the stream and who will be there. Tune in!
This is the DCP: The German Computer Game Award is an award for video games from Germany, which has been awarded since 2009. Innovative, “culturally and educationally valuable” games that have been developed or produced at least 80% in Germany are honored.
The developer studios often receive cash prizes that they can use for further game development. The DCP 2021 is endowed with prize money amounting to 790,000 euros and is awarded in 15 categories. Nominated are games, studios, and personalities from the gaming industry. These include:
- Cloudpunk
- Iron Harvest
- Scribble it!, which is considered one of the best family games on Steam by MeinMMO
- Gnu (Jasmin)
- King Art
- Ubisoft Düsseldorf

As in 2020, the DPC 2021 will also take place in purely digital form, and you can be there directly via our streams and watch the show.

Who is there? The digital award ceremony will be conducted by host Barbara Schöneberger, who was also there last year, and entertainer Uke Bosse.
