The Twitch streamers Reeze and Krokoboss made a faux pas at gamescom 2025, which their community criticized.
Who is it about? The Twitch streamers Dominik “Reeze” Reezmann and Paul “Krokoboss” were at gamescom 2025. They tried out the various food stands.
Their impressions were captured in the YouTube video “THIS IS WHAT GAMESCOM 2025 TASTES LIKE”. However, a small part of the video caused some criticism from their own community.
“First Mission: Cutting in Line”
What misstep did the Twitch streamers commit? Reeze and Krokoboss first went to a Smash Burger stand. They pushed in the front of the line and even announced it. Reeze said to his Twitch colleague: “Kroko, first mission: cutting in line.” (Source: YouTube)
Krokoboss agreed to the plan, and the two Twitch streamers positioned themselves at the front of the line and pretended they were filming a documentary about the stand. Reeze asked if they could quickly order two burgers, the employee initially seemed unsure but then agreed.
How does the community react? Even though the clip with the line-cutting only takes up a small part of the video, the comments under the YouTube video are full of criticism about it:
- inarethcir4928 doesn’t hold back on criticism of the Twitch streamers: “First, they play the influencer card and cut in line because they are something better than those who are waiting. It’s a pity, I had a more down-to-earth impression of Reezmann.”
- YourTimeQBW sees it similarly: “Cutting in line isn’t necessary, it’s just uncool.”
- bastiking9438 phrases the criticism a bit more pleasantly: “I always love the videos, but cutting in line isn’t necessary. For the viewers, it can be cut out, so there’s no added value, and the people waiting there are privately at gamescom, paying with their hard-earned money and don’t earn money from being filmed while eating the burger. It would be nice if everyone was treated equally while waiting.”
The community’s reactions were so loud that Reeze wrote a comment in response, apologizing: “(…) Cutting in line at that one stand was a bit unnecessary, and we didn’t do it anymore afterward.”
