The German Twitch streamer Kevin “Papaplatte” Teller (24) shared a story about a Tinder date that went bizarre during a podcast. However, a conversation partner, actress Kayla Shyx, pointed out how the situation could also be understood. That made it less funny.
What was the situation? In the video podcast “Edeltalk” on November 13, Papaplatte talked about “dating.” The gaming streamer recounted an incident from his life that he apparently found funny, as reported by the page Ingame:
“My favorite story, I think it was also a Tinder date, we – uh – had sex and then, we were done in less than 30 seconds. As one does afterwards – you go take a shower. I didn’t shower long, maybe two minutes. She was on FaceTime with six friends playing a round of UNO on her phone. I found it so fucking awkward.”
From his perspective, Papaplatte seemed to have gotten a strange partner there.

How did the discussion turn against him? Also invited to the podcast was actress Kayla Shyx, known for her role in the children’s channel’s reality show “Die Mädchen-WG” since 2016. She also runs a YouTube channel.
She wasn’t laughing at the story like the two men present but looked somewhat skeptical. Shyx explained to the Twitch streamer a bit snidely that he had “really delivered” on that.
Papaplatte looks at her indignantly and asks: “What is that supposed to mean?”
If she’s playing UNO afterwards, you probably didn’t entertain her …
The actress says: “Well, dude, no front, but if she immediately plays fucking UNO afterwards, then you delivered so little entertainment that UNO was the next best thing.”
Papaplatte realizes the situation he’s gotten himself into, says: “No, I’m not going to take that now.” But he also gets a broadside from his podcast partner, Dominik Reezmann, who finds the situation hilarious.
The actress follows up: “Hey, have you never reflected on that?”
Papaplatte, now in defensive mode: The evening couldn’t have gone that bad, he explains. After all, the date stayed for another 30 minutes to brush her teeth.
But Shyx is relentless: “Brushed your teeth for half an hour – and you think that’s why she liked you?”
The streamer then informs the actress that they have decided not to invite her again.

Papaplatte was once among the most successful German streamers, even in global rankings. Apparently, many of his viewers appreciate his somewhat clumsy style, which often gets him into trouble.
