The Twitch streamer “Nooreax” is stranded in Canada and documented his odyssey in Instagram stories. He originally intended to go to gamescom with his colleague Wieland “Rumathra” Welte.
Who is it about? The Twitch streamers Rumathra and Nooreax had a very special project they were streaming together before gamescom: gold prospecting in Canada. The journey there and the project itself went as planned, but the return trip and the simultaneous journey to the gamescom 2025 was another story.
Nooreax had to stay an additional two days in Canada. He documented the whole thing in his Instagram stories.
Nooreax asks Chancellor for a private plane
What happened to Nooreax in Canada? The plane that Rumathra and Nooreax originally wanted to fly back with had a tire malfunction, so it could not take off. Finding a replacement flight turned out to be more difficult than expected. In the end, only Rumathra managed to get a seat on a flight to Germany, leaving Nooreax alone in Canada.
From now on, Nooreax had to manage without his Twitch colleague and also keep an eye on his suitcase. After further return flights for Nooreax were postponed, the Twitch streamer even tagged the Chancellor in his Instagram stories out of desperation.
He claimed to be a good citizen and more or less asked the Chancellor to be allowed to “return” to Germany. He played the German national anthem and asked if he could borrow a private plane from the Chancellor to fly back.
While Nooreax was sitting at the airport trying to kill the 6 hours until his flight, the Twitch streamer Papaplatte called him. He watched Nooreax’s Instagram stories during the stream and reacted to them. Afterwards, the two played a bit together on Twitch to pass the time.

After a total of 2 long days of waiting, Nooreax was finally able to leave Canadian soil and return to Germany. To make his flight as pleasant as possible and to be able to sleep on the way back before gamescom, the Twitch streamer booked himself a ticket in Business Class.
Meanwhile, Nooreax, as you can see from his current Instagram stories, has arrived at gamescom. Papaplatte and Nooreax already collaborated in the past, as Nooreax was considered a sort of clone of Papaplatte for a while.
