League of Legends is known for being very toxic. It has almost become routine to receive a negative comment from teammates or opponents. A Twitch streamer took it to the extreme in 2024 and apologized for it. Almost a year later, however, he makes the same mistake.
Which LoL streamer is it about? The German jungler and Twitch streamer Agurin is one of the best German LoL players. In September 2024, he simultaneously reached Rank 1 and Rank 2 on the League of Legends leaderboards (x.com). Furthermore, he also reached Rank 1 in the Korea region, where some of the best professionals in the world play (boostroyale.com).
What did he do to get banned? Agurin was banned in 2024 by the organizers of the PrimeLeague, one of the largest LoL events in Germany, for the remainder of the split and the cup qualifiers after he told a teammate in solo ranked: “Please kill yourself” (kicker.de).
The X user Crossoverlol uploaded a clip of Agurin’s remarks from August 2024 on X (x.com). Two days later, Agurin apologized for this statement and assured that he would work on his language and behavior so that something like this would not happen again (x.com).

His promise did not last a year
What did Agurin say despite his insight? In a highlight video on his TikTok channel AgurinLoL, he played as usual in the jungle. When his ADC ran past him and the contested jungle camp, the ADC shot at the monsters and stole some last hits and experience from Agurin.
After this action, Agurin said: “Get cancer. All of you” and repeated that several times. Agurin has since deleted the video.
What do former teammates say about it? His former teammate and top laner from NNO, Tolkin, showed the clip of Agurin in a video on YouTube and said that it is very cringe, and he cannot say something like that on stream and upload it on his TikTok channel.
Aside from Tolkin, Broeki, the founder and former ADC of NNO, also commented on it in a YouTube video. He says that it is good to have such an uproar after Agurin got personal and wished the teammate cancer.
For a simple flame to let out his frustration during the game, Broeki has the most understanding. However, personal insults are too much and should be punished accordingly by Riot Games.
Aside from his reputation as a strong SoloQ player, Agurin gained a lot of notoriety through the German retirement team NNO.
