On Twitter, the developers of Genshin Impact (PC, PS4, PS5, mobile) presented the new weapons from the upcoming banner. We at MeinMMO briefly introduce them to you and reveal which ones you should keep an eye on.
What kind of weapons are these? On February 23, a new event starts in Genshin Impact, along with new banners being released. One of these banners introduces 3 new weapons:
- Homa Staff (5 stars, polearm)
- Millelith Sword (4 stars, greatsword)
- Millelith Lance (4 stars, polearm)
- Additionally, there is the old weapon “Wolfsgrab,” which was already found in the banner for Klee’s release.
You can only obtain these weapons with luck and real money, as prayers use the Gacha system of Genshin Impact. While the currency of Primogems can also be farmed, a large quantity is required.
Adding to the challenge, you only have until March 16 to get them, as the banner will be removed afterward.
The Millelith Sword as a Small Highlight
All 3 new weapons from the banner are generally useful and functional. However, a small highlight is the Lithic Blade. Under the right circumstances, it is one of the strongest 4-star greatswords.
Why is the Millelith Sword interesting? The greatsword fully focuses on attack power. At level 90, it offers:
- 510 Base ATK
- ATK % is at 41.3%
- Additionally, it provides a special effect that grants +7% ATK and +3% Crit Chance for every character in the team that comes from Liyue.
- With this bonus, you can achieve up to +28% ATK and +12% Crit Chance.
In terms of stats, the Millelith Sword is comparable to one of the strongest greatswords in the game, the Wolfsgrab. However, it has 5 stars and is thus harder to obtain.
It is particularly suitable for characters like Chongyun, Beidou, or Xinyan, as long as you equip your other teammates with additional characters from Liyue.
What can the Millelith Lance do? This polearm has a similar effect to the greatsword:
- 565 Base ATK at level 90
- ATK % is at 27.6%
- Additionally, it provides a special effect that grants the spear +7% ATK and +3% Crit Chance for every character from Liyue.
This makes the weapon particularly interesting for Xiangling, as she comes from Liyue.
How about the new 5-star weapon? The chance of getting the Homa Staff is significantly lower than that of the 4-star weapons from the new banner. However, the polearm also offers good stats:
- 608 ATK at level 90
- 66.2% Crit Damage
- +20% HP
- 0.8% of maximum HP is converted to ATK
- If HP falls below 50%, the ATK value is additionally increased by 1% of maximum HP
In the end, you deal a lot of damage with this weapon while also gaining health points. This makes it interesting for all characters wielding polearms.
