A leak has now revealed the Kokomi banner from Genshin Impact. In addition to the powerful healer, there is another character who could be quite worthwhile.

According to a recent leak, we now know which characters will come with the next event banner. The 5-star character Kokomi was already known, but there was no information about the other 4-star characters.

Now there is information about the Kokomi banner, which should especially please users who will be pulling the banner not only for Kokomi.

What’s in the Kokomi Banner? According to the leak, the following characters are supposed to be included in the Kokomi banner:

• Kokomi, a 5-star character with water
• Beidou, a 4-star character with electro
• Rosaria, a 4-star character with cryo
• Xingqiu, a 4-star character with water.

Especially Xingqiu could be worthwhile for users looking for a strong supporter who offers more damage reduction alongside Bennet or Barbara.

On Reddit, there’s already discussion about the Kokomi banner, and many users are positively surprised by the 4-star characters. Particularly users who want to pull for Kokomi now have at least one strong alternative aside from the 5-star character.

Xingqiu is one of the best supporters

Who is Xingqiu? Xingqiu is a 4-star character who focuses on the water element. You can also obtain this character from the standard banner and do not need the event banner.

Why is Xingqiu so good? Xingqiu’s elemental skill and ultimate ability provide powerful defensive and offensive support.

• His skill “Guhua Sword – Cloudbreak” creates small swords that orbit the character. When damaged, these are destroyed and reduce incoming damage. Additionally, the interruption resistance of the characters is increased.
• Xingqiu’s “Guhua Sword – Rain and Bows” triggers sword attacks that deal water damage with every attack. At the same time, small swords remain around the character that reduce damage.

Especially in combination with Klee or other fire characters, Xingqiu’s elemental skill can quickly trigger the vaporize reaction, resulting in significant extra damage. With cryo characters, opponents can also be frozen quickly.

The combination of him and his abilities makes Xingqiu a strong support character who doesn’t even have to be on the field to provide support.

That’s why the banner is worthwhile: Xingqiu showcases his strengths especially when you maximize his constellation. Because at the highest level, you generate additional elemental energy points.

However, even with the 2nd level of the constellation “Clear Sky”, you not only extend the duration of “Guhua Sword – Rain and Bows” but also reduce the water resistance of opponents for 4 seconds by 15%.

In addition to damage reduction, Xingqiu can also heal your characters. While his healing is not as strong as that of Barbara or Bennet, it is definitely worth it with the damage mitigation.
